Our Story
TapZone wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born in our communities, right here in Los Angeles, where questions like "¿Cuáles son mis derechos con la policía?” or “What should I do if ICE comes to my door?” aren’t hypotheticals, they’re everyday, urgent realities.
We’re not outsiders looking in. TapZone is led by a team of educators, technologists, and activists from the very communities we serve. We saw young people eager to fight for justice, families navigating fear and language barriers, and systems that make critical knowledge hard to access.
We knew flyers get lost. Websites get ignored. So we built something better.
TapZone turns what you wear into a tool for power, connecting people to real-time, bilingual resources like “Know Your Rights” guides and protest safety tips, right when and where they need them most.
We created TapZone to put power back where it belongs: in the hands of the people.
